My Story

Hi! my name is Wenying Lei and I am a SUNY New Paltz graduate. I majored in Digital Media Production with a double minor in Asian Studies and Film & Video studies. I was born and raised in Guangdong, China and moved to the U.S. when I was 16 years old.

As a multilingual and multicultural person, I value the spark that exists between cultures. My experiences have taught me to appreciate the beauty of diversity while also allowing me to see the commonalities among people. I love capturing my viewpoint with the camera and revisiting it years later. I enjoy nostalgic activities such as listening to old songs and visiting historic sites. In addition, I like cosmetics, dancing, acting, and embroidery.

I love the stage lights, but I also enjoy my leisure time.
